Project Management IS Personality Management
No one cares what a Project Manager does. They only care about results and how you can add value to their needs and agenda.
People want to feel like they’re being heard. LISTEN to them! Even if you don’t agree, LISTEN. You will learn something, even if it’s about their character.
Everyone has an agenda. Know what it is. Do your research. Talk to people and connect the dots.
GET MOVING – literally. Get up from behind your desk and do your rounds – we like to call them office drive by’s

Study...
There are some things that just can’t be taught. You either have it or you don’t.
BUT ALL IS NOT LOST!
You can study. But study correctly. Study people in the public eye. Study great public speakers. Study great interviews. Read books on leadership. Attend leadership conferences.
Study greatness, PERIOD! You’ll find inspiration in the most unfamiliar places. In order to be great and connect with your customers, clients, and team members, you have to put in the work.
There are no shortcuts when it comes to great Project Management.
