I haven’t gotten a promotion in X years.

Why is this topic a theme in my conversations this week? My best guess is that these women are beginning to look into their professional future.

These women are beginning to really feel the burn of dissatisfaction. They’re really seeing that they’re careers are not advancing in the way they want it or they’re just realizing that they are capable of more.
